Steuben Glass Octron
The Octron is a glass sculpture in the form of a truncated tetrahedron designed by Lloyd Atkins. The fascinating aspect of this piece is that an image of an icosahedron (an object with 532 symmetry), formed from internal reflection of the triangular faces, appears on viewing a hexagonal face of the object. It is an interesting question whether objects with different symmetry can have similar properties.
